what is the condition to receive grants on fafsa?
i going apply on fafsa and i just wondering what is the condition to receive a grant and a loans etc. and how can we get them. if i can get grants and loans on fafsa do they just call or email to let me know. i am asking this question because this is my first time using fafsa do fafsa give you loan and grant if yoou meet their requiremneIf you are new to the world of loans, then all the jargon and language can seem very confusing. There are so many different terms to know, and unless you know some of them you will not find the best loan deal to suit your needs. If you want to know more, then here is a guide to some of the basic loan terms you might need to know. http://www.worldbestloans.com/ The lower the APR, then the cheaper the loan interest will be. Credit scoring is a method that lenders use to determine your eligibility for a loan. They question a series of questions about your earnings and financial situation. Each answer you give is scored, and the better your score then the more likely you are to be accepted for a loan.
It depends on the school. FAFSA itself does not give out the grants- the state that you are living in and your school gives out the grants. FAFSA is an attention, and it figures out what your EFC – or your estimated family role – is. That is then compared to the cost of the school you are going to, they evaluate their funds, and spread them to each person in view of that. If you have a low EFC, then you will more than likely get grants, etc. Again, it completely depends on the state and your school
Fill out the paperwork and tell them what college you are going to once you get your tuition statement it will tell you the specific amount you will receive, but prior to that they will give you an e-mail or snail mail confirmation that they received your attention and this is what you are projected to get. Small tip if you are going to a branch of a college and not the main campus, you can receive the board of regents grant depending on the state in which you live.

Can anyone help me with the FAFSA, grants and other student aids?
I have no thought what they are and how they work. Anything I should know before hand? Any infomation would help. Websites, personal experience? Thanks a lot =D.u need to have your tax info from last year. u can do it online but need to get a pin # http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/FOTWWebApp/complete004.jsp
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ <- official website Talk to your high school counselor or financial aid office at the college you plot on attending for help filling it out and researching your options. Also try http://www.fastweb.com Usually there are workshops held for seniors at high schools for parents and students. Try finding out if your district holds these events.
Your college should be able to tell you what you need to know. You can also go on FAFSA’s website for directions.

When will I find out about grants for FAFSA?
I sent in my and my parents FAFSA on the 23rd of January and it was processed on the 25th of January. How long will it take to find out how much I will get in grants from the government? Will it tell me on the FAFSA’s website or do I have to contact the college I am going to?Your EFC will give you a excellent thought of what kind of grants you’ll get from the govt – the lower your EFC, the better. Your individual colleges will send you financial aid packages in the mail when they received your processed FAFSA. Depending on the college, this can be from a week or two to a few months – generally, the larger the college, the more time it will take for them to get back to you. Their aid packages will include both the federal (government) grants you’re eligible for and the college/university’s own grants/loans.
Usually you will receive a SAR in a few weeks that will let you know how much your parents need to contribute, but as far as the amount you will receive in grants..is left up to the school that you plot on attending. Once the school receives your FAFSA they will place together a financial aid package for you that will include the amount you will receive in grants, scholarships, and student loans.
the college you applied to will tell you. my college has a website that allows me to view it online. i dont know about your school. some do it online and some send it via mail. but anyway you will get it from the school. all fafsa does it send your info to the school, and its up to the school to assign the aid.
